Oh, the mountains! Getting up, free your mind and have a wonderful view! So here is another hike with stunning views we enjoyed this summer: from the Karer Pass up to the Poppenkanzel on the Latemar. Including sitting in a movie theatre 🙂

Description

Start at the Karerpass, follow trail #17 the Latemarwiesen and up to the lift mountain station (only operated in winter time). Then follow the sign up to the Poppenkanzel, enjoy the view and go back the same trail down to the lift station. Take the forest trail to the right and descend back to the starting point using trail #517.

Starting point: 1792 m, 650 m up and down again, around 4-5 hours and 8 km.

But we had to move on, following trail #17 to the Poppenkanzel:
