Hiking in the Tschamin Valley

Summer is over and Fall has started in the northern hemisphere. Time of the year to do more beautiful hikes in the Alps. This time I take you on a hike through the green Tschamin valley: for me one of the most beautiful and scenic places in the Dolomites, Italy.

Rechter Leger

We started in St. Cypriano, near Tiers, South Tyrol, Italy. The hike through the Tschamin valley follows the trail #3 which goes up to the Grasleitenhütte (which we did not visit on this hike). We started at the parking lot (1) and followed trail #12 to the Tschaminschwaige (2). Following the Tschamin creek trail #9 to the Schaferleger (3) and then to the Rechter Leger (4) which offers an amazing view to the Dolomites. Then returning on the same path, this time taking the trail #13 (5) going through alpine meadows (6) and forests (7).
