Newer releases of Processor Expert (e.g. in Kinetis Design Studio (KDS)) come with a ‘graphical’ (or ‘tabbed’) view of the Component Inspector. The UI elements are different and ‘tabs’ are using:
I like much more the earlier ‘no-tabs’ view. Luckily, there is a setting to switch the view back.
There is a check item in the ‘view menu’ behind the small triangle of the view toolbar:
With that option unchecked, the view will show as before:
I like that view better as it uses less screen estate which is important as my notebook screen resolution is rather small.
To change the settings for the workspace, use the menu Window > Preferences and then go to the Processor Expert settings where the defaults can be changed:
