VS Code: Color Themes

Color Themes

💡 Eclipse has color themes too. The advantage of VS Code is that it had designed from the beginning with themes (colors, icons, …) in mind.

Personally, I prefer a ‘light’ theme, but many of my students prefer a ‘black’ one. It is up to you!

To change the theme, use the menu File > Preferences:

One can use the keyboard shortcut too: CTRL+K CTRL-T.

Pick a theme which you like the most.

You can the theme in the Settings as well. Use the menu File > Preferences > Settings

Preference Settings Menu

Then filter for ‘theme’:

Next, I’m going to install some extensions.

Happy coloring 🙂
